David Simpkins, BDS FDS MRD RCSEd

David qualified from The Royal London Hospital Medical College in 1986, and achieved the prestigious Fellowship in Dental Surgery (FDS) and Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics.  GDC No: 61900

Aideen Simpkins, BDS

Aideen qualified from the University of Manchester Dental School in 1992. Working in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery unit and later the Community Dental Service.  Aideen believes in a sound preventative basis to dentistry and the importance of suggesting a range of treatment options. David and Aideen are married and have 3 children. Both David and Aideen are keen tennis players, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, family time and skiing holidays. GDC No: 68264

Marie Hobden, Practice Manager

Marie joined Duke Street Dental Centre in 2016 having been in dental practice management for over ten years. Marie has two children and a Cavapoo named Lottie! Marie holds a black belt in martial arts and in her spare time she enjoys gardening, running and drinking fine wine!

Matt York, Associate Dentist

Matt studied at the University of Birmingham and graduated in 1997. After a couple of years of training in Maxillofacial surgery he returned to general dentistry. Since then he has worked almost exclusively in private practice in Sussex and brings a wealth of experience with him. Matt loves the whole range of general dentistry and has a reputation for being very gentle. Away from work he enjoys running and taking part in triathlons, but his real passion is paragliding. He also enjoys languages and is currently studying Sign Language to degree level. GDC No: 73048

Nicole Pickard, Hygienist

Qualified in 2009 from Kings College London and has been working at Duke Street ever since. Lives in Angmering. Likes spending time with friends & family, keeping fit & eating healthily. Also enjoys long walks in the sunshine.  GDC No: 174710

Sandy Aldridge, Clinical Lead Head Dental Nurse

Clinical Lead Head Nurse and works in the surgery and on reception. Sandy joined Duke Street in April 2012. Lives in Shoreham with her daughter, Emily, and her dog, Ruby. Enjoys long walks and meeting up with family and friends. GDC No: 183046

Kate Hedgecock, Dental Nurse

Kate has been a fully qualified dental nurse for the last 10 and a half years. She has gone on to do further training and is now a qualified sedation nurse. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and renovating her new home. GDC No: 131940

Lenka Kovacova, Dental Nurse

Lenka is originally from Slovakia and is a qualified dental nurse. Lenka enjoys meeting up with friends, going to the theatre and travelling. In 2013 Lenka completed NEBDN course and gained a qualification in dental radiography. GDC No: 117216

Gemma Phillips, Dental Nurse

Gemma joined the team at Duke Street Dental Centre in March 2019.  She has over 20 years experience of being a dental nurse.  In her spare time Gemma enjoys walking her dog and spending time with friends and family.  GDC No: 133319

Alessandra Iannucci, Trainee Dental Nurse

 

Zoe Dubery-Douglas, Receptionist

Zoe joins Duke Street Dental Centre as a part time receptionist having previously been a dental nurse for 15 years. Zoe enjoys running, socialising, reading and travelling.

Conor Simpkins, Receptionist

Conor lives in Hove.  He enjoys playing the guitar and making music.  Conor is now studying music technology, media and photography whilst working as a part time receptionist.

Eoin Simpkins

Eoin is at Oxford University studying maths. In his spare time he continues to referree and play rugby for his college.  Out of term time Eoin still manages to help out on reception and doing any necessary behind the scenes book-keeping for Duke Street Dental Centre.
